Pretty desk nice layout but don't count on moving it over carpet much....or ever! 2nd time we rolled it one of the casters snapped so now completely useless for my needs.

I needed a desk top that allowed me to spread out my paperwork while using my notebook. This is ample space for computer, papers, note taking. It stays put when wheels are locked, easily relocated. Doesn't feel fragile has some weight to it. The cubes underneath are a neat feature allowing storage without piling it on desk top. Keeps things readily at hand. If you are looking for a small, portable desk this is a great choice. Good height that doesn't fatigue when working for long periods of time.
As with many 'assembly required' items I had trouble. Some of the pre-drilled holes were not correct which ended up being a problem. I would suggest having it assembled at the store. We ended up bringing 2 back that were wrong and taking the display model and it fit just fine in our Toyota Prius.

Reasonably sturdy (for the price) but the surface is very, *very* scratch prone. Do not set anything on the desk that could scratch the surface. Granted it is not the most expensive desk on the market but you don't expect to get scratches so easily. Keep a furniture marker or wood filler crayon handy as you will need it to keep the desk looking tidy. Desk looks nice from a distance but I wouldn't recommend it unless you don't mind having scratches and marks all over the desk. I don't know about assembly because I paid to have Office Depot send someone out to assemble. He spent at least 90 minutes and this was someone who does this for a living.

The unit measures precisely what was stated;. a plus because of the space limits of where we want it. Functionality is what one would expect of any desk. Good sitting height. Plenty of desktop space. Fair storage availability.
As some other reviewers noted, the directions, which are primarily drawings, are not as clear as some other companies who produce assemble-yourself furniture. The drawer slides were especially challenging even with a few written notes next to the pictures. Assembly took about 90 minutes progressing calmly page-to-page. A faster pace is certainly possible.
Color is deep and inviting. However, quality control is sorely lacking. Packaging was very snug so the many scuffs, scratches, and chips are most likely from the manufacturing process. not a result of mishandling during shipping.
If looking for perfection, this isn't it. But we feel we will get many years of use from this desk.
