Rated 3.7 out of 5by 67 reviewers.
Rated 2 out of 5by Swingline Optima broken, extremely disappointed After purchasing multiple products of Swingline's from regular staplers to multiple electric staplers for our office, we are extremely disappointed that our desktop stapler has cracked and busted after minimal use. Although we have electric staplers to use for the time being, we are not able to bring the desktop stapler with us, as we do on a daily basis. May 27, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5by Very Good Stapler This unit works extremely well, creating correctly formed, tightly-bound staples almost effortlessly. I already use one of the smaller Optimas. Less-expensive staplers sometimes flatten staples, increasing effort and causing stapled sheets to be loose or detach. You pay more for these Optimas, but they are worth it in the long run. Rated 3 out of 5by Pushes hard and now the spring broke As a stapler it does the job. I wish it pushed down smoother and easier. Now the spring that causes it to "re-cock" or remain open and ready for the next compression has broken or popped out. I have to prop it open with my finger before I can slide the paper in. Real pain in the neck. How do I get a spring and repair it??? May 15, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5by Mine jams too Very frustrating to look at the "Jam Free" sticker on the side when it is constantly jamming after a few month's use, even when I use permium staples. Don't fall for the jam free claim! April 22, 2015
