Not bad for the price
I purchased the U-shaped desk, hutch and three lateral file cabinets for my home office. It took about three days to assemble all the pieces but the instructions were easy to follow. Note that the L on the desk can be assembled on the left or right. The on line ad doesn't tell you this. I am disappointed with the quality of the furniture since they use only half-inch press board on most of the pieces, excluding the tops. They could have charged a few dollars more and made it a bit more durable. I was also not happy with the color of the maple, which turned out to be much darker than shown in the on line ad, and the fact that there are no more available matching pieces. I would have purchased regular 15" file cabinets or book shelves rather than the flimsy lateral 30" cabinets, if they had been available. Also, the desk is smaller than I would have liked and it has no drawers so if you build it away from the L, I don't know what you do with your supplies! The desk is only 28" at its widest point and the side and back are only about 19". I would have gladly paid another $50 - $100 to have the furniture be more durable, functional, practical and comfortable.

AWESOME!!!
Was very impressed with the quality of this unit. It looks beautiful. It was easy to put together with the instructions provided, but you must pay attention to the pictures. Loved the way the hardware was kitted per step. I put it together along with the hutch by myself in about 5 hours. A great value for the money!

Excellent Office Desk
My husband and I were skeptical about purchasing furniture online as we've found in the past that the color doesn't always match the online photo. However, we were pleasantly surprised when the two desks we ordered arrived and exceeded our expectations. Assembly does take several hours, but it was super easy to follow the instructions. You can configure the desks two different ways which worked out great for us as we needed to face them differently for our respective offices. The top of the desks are quite heavy and of excellent quality. We've even knocked our chairs into the tops a few times with no chipping of the finish! I wound up not using the keyboard tray for my desk as it was a little on the small side and protruded out too far for my liking. My husband uses and loves his though. We've gone through quite a few desks in our lifetime searching for the perfect match and I think we've finally found it in these desks. I actually wish there were more pieces to choose from in the Realspace Broadstreet collection so we could further outfit our office!

Nice Desk for the price
Pros: excellent desk for the price, nice finish, doesn't take a rocket scientist to put together.
Cons: time to put together, found the screws for desk legs to be to short went to hardware store and got 4 1 1/4 wood screws made it much stronger, would have liked to see the 2 configuration options to be more interchangeable. just plan out the space you are going to use it in!
