Solid Purchase, Very nice piece
This desk is very sharp and relevant. Three drawers for files multiple sizes, two smaller drawers for whatever(junk, pens, receipts) and a flip down hides the keyboard which is a nice touch.
I had two pieces cracked when I laid it out and it was a weekend. I went online to Sauder because no one was there and online ordered the two parts. They didn't come until next Friday but they came no questions asked and in good shape.
Directions are pretty clear but could be a bit more detailed on the drawer rails.
You don't want to drag it over carpet because, though solid, slightly fragile in how it is built. I purchased the lateral file and it needed some adjustment but it looks nice.
The drawers on everything are solid and roll very nice.
I would buy it again and am glad I did.
It did take 5 hours solo.

Best Purchase Ever
What ever you do, do not order online. I had so much trouble on getting my desk that I had to go to a store and have them to order it for me. I got the order 2 days later. The desk is nice but it did have a lot of pieces to it. I wish they would put the letters on the pieces instead of cabinet right and cabinet left and so on.

Sleek and Professional
I purchased this desk for the purpose of setting up a professional looking home office area and for the price we paid I am very impressed. It was not difficult to put together but it it best if you have another person to help but you have to pay very close attention to the instructions. The assembly takes a while but the instructions are clear and concise with images. In the end we have a beautiful desk that looks as though it cost us over a grand to purchase!

Garbage non existant Sauder customer serervice
This Desk looks good at a distance made of flimsey 1/2" partical board not MDF came with package undamaged but base pieses were stuck together and cheap contact paper covering ripped pulling apart, even using 1 top edge molding had 14" scatch. Black Top fits within edge moulding very poor fit. Drawer Slides are good Hardware handles I never seen so cheap. It has a lot of pieces but instructions are adaquate. Trying to order replacement pieces from Sauder they would not replace or sell me pieces. I tried to get away cheaply because I intend to move in a year, this desk will not stand moving should have spent extra money on HON 9400 series. and by the way Sauder Return does not work with this executive desk $560.00 worth of firewood I gave it 1 * but Sauder deserves a minus 10 for customer service

It can be. There is a hole to route your cord thru in the back of the drawer, and the face folds down magnetically. BUT...the magnets on the face are fairly strong and will work just fine as a regular drawer as well!Gender:�Male

Then you have 2 single height drawers on the top right. Finally, a middle drawer for a keyboard. In the instructions it shows a power drill with a cross on it obviously meaning not to use one. What's wrong if I want to use one to screw the peices in? It will make it alot faster than hand tightening.

The reason why they do not recommend using a power drill is because you can over tighten the screws. Since this product uses particle board (pressed wood) and not genuine wood, it could open and separate and weaken the integrity of the furniture once any weight is placed on it. On the other hand, using a manual screwdriver gives you better control and alleviates any headaches that might occur in assembly.5 months, 3 weeks ago

VERY! Assemble it where you are going to use it and position it before adding all the drawers. It's probably 200lbs all assembled (press board is heavy). But, it is well made and sturdy so worth dealing with the weight unless you have to move it after assembly. I suspect it really can't be moved once assembled unless you took it almost completely apart.9 months ago

Short answer, No. There are two desks within the Heritage Hill line that are extremely similar though. Product numbers 109830 and 109843. There are slight differences regarding size, type of drawers, and placement of drawer pulls but the inlay that you mentioned is non-existent.8 months ago
