I purchased this cabinet for my office, needing secure storage for some small electronics (laptop, DVD player, video camera, etc.). It serves the purpose but be warned that it is not heavy duty at all. The slightest movement is subject to putting a dent in the metal. As it was being moved from a truck to the office, the metal of one of the doors and the rear bottom became dented. It has adequate storage space. It was fairly easy to put together. I don't consider myself handy but I completed it within an hour or so. With the exception of the front door handle and lock, there are no screws for assembly. Pieces essentially slide together with interlocking components.

Has to be assembled. Overall pretty sturdy. Doors are kind of flimsy. Don't bother locking door if you pull hard it will pop open. Check package when you receive it as some panels had dents.

My Dad is in a nursing home and much of his personal items kept disappearing. He asked for a way to lock up his things to keep them safe from "five finger shoppers" in his room. This cabinet fit the bill entirely. He loves it. Says, "This is just what I needed!" This was his Father's Day Gift and he says it is the best one yet.
I had to get help getting out of the truck and having it put together but it fits perfectly in his room. The putty color looks good in this room and will look absolutely amazing in his next room at another nursing home.
I know most people think of this as for office but it is now housing drinks, snacks, personal items, bible, phone, etc. Dad wears the key on a chain round his neck just like his dog tag from the service. Love this cabinet.

Challenging to assemble; the structural integrity is supplied by the top. After it's assembled, it seems to work well.
