Description
This Voltaic solar bag is a mobile solar-powered generator designed to charge handheld electronic devices without a power outlet. Just plug a standard car charger into the bag and recharge virtually all handheld electronic devices, including cell phones, cameras, 2-way radios, PDAs and MP3s (not designed to charge notebook computers).
The bag also comes with a USB adapter and 10 other standard adapters for common cell phones and other devices.
Mounted on the outside of the bag are 3 lightweight, waterproof solar panels that generate up to 4 watts of power for quick charge times. These solar panels use the sun to power up your electronics — helping save electricity and greenhouse gases. Wires travel throughout the bag to bring the power to your device. Plus, the panels also protect fragile contents in the bag. The battery pack can also be charged using an AC travel charger or car charger (both included).
Use the Voltaic Converter as a standalone daypack, or easily attach it to another bag using the included fastek buckles. It is fully padded to carry and protect a notebook computer, and also includes a lined MP3/sunglasses pouch. It features high-density padding in the shoulder straps and back panel for all-day comfort, and can be worn as a backpack or a sling bag. It's ideal for use in the city or on day trips. This environmentally preferable bag feature high quality construction from recycled PET (soda bottles).
