Tripp Lite Switched ATS / Auto Transfer Switch provides a redundant power option for single-corded network devices. Dual input cords support separate connection to PRIMARY and SECONDARY power sources. The ATS will normally maintain continuous output to all outlets as derived from the primary input cable. If the primary power source becomes unstable or fails altogether, the ATS will switch over to the secondary power source until the primary input is restored and stable. Switched PDU features include individually controllable output receptacles and built-in network interface. Super-fast switchover between primary and secondary power sources occurs within milliseconds. ATS functionality is supported by any two compatible AC power sources, regardless of phase angle, to support a variety of advanced redundant power networking applications. Enables fault tolerant hot-swappable UPS protection when used with a single UPS and fully redundant UPS protection when each cord is connected to a separate UPS system. In a two-UPS environment, the primary input cable must be supported by a full time sine wave UPS with zero transfer time. Tripp Lite SmartOnline series is highly recommended for use as the primary UPS in a two-UPS application. ATS configurations utilizing separate mains circuits, backup generators and even separate utility power grid feeds are fully supported. On-board ATS processor constantly evaluates power quality on both input sources to prevent transfer to the secondary source when unavailable or of lower quality than the primary source. Front input LED's display primary or secondary power availability.

Tripp Lite's 200-240V 16A Switched, Metered PDU System with Automatic Transfer Switching (ATS) Offers 8 Switched C13 Outlets and 2 Unswitched C19 Outlets
|Do you need an efficient way to distribute, monitor and manage high-voltage 208/240V power in an IT or industrial environment? Tripp Lite's PDUMH20HVATNET Switched/Metered PDU with ATS is the solution you seek! Featuring a built-in SNMPWEBCARD, the PDUMH20HVATNET provides full remote power monitoring and control via a secure network or web browser interface. Used with an optional environmental sensor module (Tripp Lite model ENVIROSENSE), the PDUMH20HVATNET can also provide temperature/humidity and dry contact interfaces monitoring. The PDUMH20HVATNET's eight C13 outlets are individually controllable to enable load shedding, load ramping and remote rebooting of locked-up servers and other network devices. Two unswitched C19 outlets are also provided. Optional integrated automatic transfer switching capability enables dual AC input redundancy for critical network hardware, hot-swappable UPS maintenance bypass or dual UPS protection. These capabilities provide IT personnel with enhanced oversight of facility power and environmental conditions. The PDUMH20HVATNET is configurable for 1U rackmount installation with included hardware|
The PDUMH20HVATNET gives IT personnel enhanced oversight of network power conditions. It remotely monitors site power conditions and PDU load levels, and supports notification and logging of all major power events and user-specified alarm thresholds via email or SNMP traps. Real-time clock backup maintains the time of day and date even if the PDU is shut down and unpowered. Used with Tripp Lite's optional ENVIROSENSE sensor, the PDUMH20HVATNET can also remotely monitor temperature/humidity conditions plus up to four dry contact interfaces for alarm, security and telecom devices. These capabilities simplify and streamline the task of network power management.
Built-In Network Interface with Broad Compatibility
The PDUMH20HVATNET features a built-in SNMPWEBCARD that enables full remote access for power monitoring, configuration and control via a secure network or web browser interface. The PDUMH20HVATNET provides 10/100 Mbps auto-sensing for optimal communication compatibility with a 10/100 Base-T network. Protocols supported include HTTP, HTTPS, PowerAlert Network Management System, SMTP, SNMPv1, SNMPv2, Telnet, FTP, DHCP, BOOTP and NTP. DHCP/Manual configuration support provides the ability to have network settings automatically assigned to the card, or manually assigned via permanent IP addresses.
To prevent inrush-related equipment interaction at startup, the PDUMH20HVATNET's eight C13 outlets are factory-programmed for sequential activation at 250-millisecond intervals when the PDU is energized.
Integrated Auto-Transfer Switching
The PDUMH20HVATNET features optional integrated automatic transfer switching (ATS) capability to provide a redundant power option for networking and server applications with non-redundant internal power supplies. In ATS mode, one power cord delivers primary input power and one provides secondary input power. If primary power becomes unstable or fails, the PDU automatically performs a super-fast (2-7 milliseconds) switchover to the secondary power source. Front-panel input LEDs indicate primary or secondary power availability.
ATS functionality makes the PDUMH20HVATNET ideal for adding redundancy to single-corded devices. When used with a single UPS system, it provides fault-tolerant hot-swappable UPS protection for applications requiring zero downtime. When each of its power cords is connected to a separate UPS system, the PDUMH20HVATNET provides fully redundant, zero-downtime UPS protection.
Digital Current Meter and Outlet
LEDsThe PDUMH20HVATNET is equipped with a digital LED meter that enables IT personnel to monitor the total load on the PDU at the rack in real time. This meter helps to assure that the PDU is used at maximum capacity with no danger of overload. Each outlet is provided with an LED that illuminates to confirm power on/off status.
The PDUMH20HVATNET is designed for reliable distribution of AC power to supported equipment in IT, industrial and similar applications. It features a rugged all-metal case, high-quality outlets, detachable power cords and a switchless, circuit breaker-free design with included cord retention brackets to prevent accidental shutoff.
Versatile Installation Options
The PDUMH20HVATNET is easy to integrate with a wide range of data center and network applications. It is suitable for 1U installation in standard 19-inch rack enclosures as well as wall-mount, workbench, under-counter and similar installations.
