Energizer SMART Charger
A lot of money spent for faulty goods.
i brought one of these chargers, paid good money for it, 3 months later 2 of the batteries come up as not good on the charger, i threw away the receipt so went out and brought another 8 energizer rechargable batteries at a high cost for my sons birthday thinking id save money in the long run, and now have 6 of the 8 coming up as no good. like an idiot i cant find the receipt and will never buy another Energizer product again. complete waste of about 40-45.

I like it but have questions
I read the manual, but am unclear if I can charge 2 aa on one side at the same time as 2 aaa on the other side? Or must I do only similar batteries at the same time? Also how do you know when it is done - is it when the hours left goes to 0 or does it blink?

I purchased the Smart Charger a year ago and it has served well so far.
I use it to refresh the state of charge in the Energizer Recharge batteries I bought to upgrade the cheap 600mAh NiCad batteries that came with my solar pathway lights.
When used with the 2300mAh NiMh Energizer batteries my pathway lights stay bright until morning even into winter
The display is hard to read if not looking directly at it but with the auto off feature I can set and go about doing other things.
I also have the basic charger and it works well but takes longer to charge and has to be monitored. the Smart Charger was well worth the price.
I plan on adding another so I can charge more batteries at once.
