Highly recommend this copy holder. It just slips under the keyboard and eliminates the need to turn your head and/or lean forward to see copy sitting on the desk.

Rated 2 out of 5by Lyndsay Great idea, poor design
What sold me on this was the fact that you could lay the document holder over the keyboard for a "smooth writing surface"........ They forgot to mention that the stupid thing would be pressing the keys on the keyboard as your are writing..... ugh...........Returning tomorrow!

I needed a copy stand to hold paper, landscape orientation, while typing hand-written field data into a database. My keyboard is on a portable keyboard stand that is only about 16" deep so I needed a copy stand with a base that would fit under the keyboard because there wasn't room enough behind on the tabletop.
For me there are two problems with this copyholder. (1) There is no cursor that I can use to mark which line is being worked on. (2) To hold a book (instead of individual papers) you turn the copy stand around with the base to the rear. That won't work on my narrow keyboard stand. #2 is not a killer item because I don't have a need to work from bound volumes (right now, anyway).
Before I bought this product I was using a home-made wire stand made from coat-hanger wire, which was barely adequate. This product is better than the coat hanger.
