Rated 5 out of 5?by Amazing wood finish This computer desk is awesome! It's really useful and has a lot of space, compared to my old desk. I would recommend this product any-time. Sauder? Edge Water Computer Desk January 16, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5?by Fantastic Desk This is a very beautiful desk. I have assembled a lot of furniture, this desk had to be the easiest instructions I ever read and followed. All parts were clearly marked and provided. The step-by-step instructions were clear easy to decipher, the desk turned out beautifully. The desk is spacious with lots of storage. I have a large computer tower and it fits perfect. I work at home and need lots of space, this desk provides. I am extremely pleased with this purchase. The delivery was right on time, by a very polite, courteous man. I would recommend this product to anyone who is interested. January 16, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5?by Solid handsome Desk Very nice final product after product after about 3 1/2 hours and total of 260 pieces including screws nails etc. Just need patience. Quality hinges. January 13, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5?by Good value Overall, I am pleased. The directions were very clear, but there were a lot of steps and a lot of hardware. It is very sturdy, but we noticed a catch in the keyboard slide out and we can't seem to get it adjusted to stop catching. The back panel is made of cardboard which is typical of most Sauder furniture, but overall I am really happy with my purchase. January 10, 2015

If by top drawer you mean the keyboard tray, by breaking it! This piece is held up by connectors that are simply not strong enough. Don't waste your time. The other drawers seemed to fit okay.

Answer:?
Yes. The desk comes with two metal rods that can be placed in the drawer for hanging standard size files only (legal size files will NOT fit). The drawer is small so the files can only be placed sideways, not front to back like most filing cabinets.

I like to keep my day to day files in this desk drawer and any non-essential files in a regular filing cabinet elsewhere in my house.

Answer:?
Here's a pic I took today, 2/5/13. Yes, there are bars for folders. I put a folder in the drawer to demonstrate that the file drawer does not pull out all the way. You can move the bars to the front most holes (be sure to do this upon assembly - the back one can't be changed after it's assembled). The folders will still have to be angled slightly to put them into the drawer. Might be a pain if you have a full file drawer.

You will definitely need a truck or van to get this home. I have a Dodge Journey and with the second row seat folded up and pushed completely forward, it was still too long to allow me to close the hatch door on my vehicle. The box has to be well over 5 feet long, probably closer to 6 feet long.

Monitor wirles

I asked a question, were there a hole at the top for monitor wires, and the response was no: but in an answer from you in the same thread: "The paperboard back panels located behind each pedestal have a perforated area that can be removed for cord access. There is also a half moon cut out located at the top of the center modesty panel that is also for cord access." Where on the top is this half moon??
This sounds contradictory please advise? This is important to us as we are looking to possibly purchase 10-15 of these desks.

Answer:?
There is no hole in the top pieces, nor is there a hole in the back pieces. However on the back and side of the CPU cabinet there are two holes. The one hole that goes straight through the back is larger, maybe 2" diameter, whereas the one which is in the side is smaller, maybe 1" and is meant more for keyboard / mouse cables.

Basically for stringing cables from the CPU to the monitor there is no easy way to hide the cables without punching a hole in the table top or the top of the back piece
