Rated 4.6 out of 5by 76 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5by Great value Very well constructed..... We ended up buying 2 of these. Only con was, the second one we put together was missing a part. We had to drive back to store (45 mi.) ..... Office Depot quickly took care of it. February 9, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5by Excellent The packing instruction were easy to follow and all of the screws were individually packaged and labeled with each instruction step. Product is sturdy and beautiful. It took about 2 hours to put together and worth every bit if time we spent. January 12, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5by Definitely worth the Purchase I was really surprised with the quality of this product. It was easy to assemble and I absolutely love the Antique Black finish. January 12, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5by Perfect desk The brown accents and 'rough' painted black of this desk make it perfect for my son's Steampunk themed bedroom. He is 13 and between the 2 of us we built it in about 3 hours. We took our time, probably could have had it done in 1.5 if we rushed it. They've really come a long way with these DIY furniture kits. The instructions were very clear and the hardware was packaged in a way that made it very simple to follow each step. The only part we had trouble with was putting the back on. It was hard to line up the nails with the horizontal shelf. Also, that was the only part where the instructions were lacking a bit. If you don't think ahead you might make a mistake and line up the bottom of that back panel with the bottom of the hutch when what is needed is to let it hang down a bit so that it can also be attached (nailed) to the lower portion of the unit. We ran out of the supplied glue for the dowels. Luckily we had some wood glue on hand. The layout of the unit is a bit dated in that it is clearly designed for a desktop rather than a laptop. I wish there had been an actual drawer instead of a keyboard tray. Also, there is an access point to drop power cords through the back of the desk top (as if things would be permanently plugged in) but instead of using it that way we fed an extension cord up to the desk top so that he can plug anything in without having to crawl under the desk to do it. All in all very pleased with the end result. Form and function are both better than we expected and my son LOVES how it makes his room look. December 29, 2014
