Good for 4-5 months.... then JUNK
I weigh 280 pounds. and the hydraulic lifts on other chairs lasted about 5-6 months, because the weight limit was only 250 pounds. I spent the extra money and bought this chair about 5 months ago, because the weight limit in 350 pounds. I thought it would hold me and the hydraulic lift would last a while, but was I wrong.
About once a month, I had to tighten the arms, but that only took a few minutes and it was no big deal. Now, after 5 months, the hydraulic lift on it keeps going down. It is no better than the chairs with a 250 pound weight limit.

It's pretty meh.
I bought this chair with a 15% coupon in late 2010. Back then the sales total was around $150. After about 8-12 months the lift began failing. At certain points you can feel the chair declining as you are sitting in it. I'm around the 275 lb mark which is significantly under the weight rating of the chair itself.
Around this time the reclining feature also began failing, and the chair will not remain stable without tilting unless you lock the chair into position by pushing in the lever on the handle. I've made sure the screws had been tight but it seems the lift piece had failed to a large degree.
Lately, the leather coating on the chair has been peeling off and I end up finding bits of it around the office. It is really looking horrible and time for a new one already. I've made a reasonable effort to keep the chair in an acceptable condition, but I would be very surprised if they actually honored their warranty. Definitely looking toward another brand for a replacement.

Years of service
I've now been using this chair for several years and it continues to function well and the leather still looks great. (I do condition the leather every year to keep it from cracking). I would highly recommend this chair.
