Rolodex Open Card Tray, 2 1/4? x 4?, Black/Silver, Mesh 3 5 1 1
Not what I expected. Although touted as a Rolodex for business cards, what it really is is a Rolodex with cards designed to allow you to copy information from business cards to the Rolodex cards. The cards, inexplicably, place the cell phone field at the bottom, separate from the other phone number fields (phone and fax) The cards do not provide separate contact and business name fields - and they should. On the plus side, the construction is excellent and the high sides *do* allow you to place actual business cards in the file - but they are loose and so lose the primary advantage of the Rolodex system. What I *wanted* was a Rolodex that was designed to accept business cards as inserts into tall Rolodex-style cards. With such a system, you can add business cards to your file "as is" without mucking about transferring the information to a Rolodex card. What I *expected* was a file that was designed to hold business cards only, without the funny Rolodex base. That base - which holds the Rolodex cards so well - makes this far less than ideal for storing actual business cards.. Jim September 24, 2009
