Great stands for the price
I purchased two of these for my dual monitor setup and have been fairly impressed, especially considering the price. Installation was easy and quick.
The only con I have is that the hex screws on the hinges are EXTREMELY tight. So tight in fact, trying to loosen them snapped the hex wrench included with the stand. The hinges are shipped extremely stiff so getting the monitor exactly where you want it quite a pain. However, once you get it where you want it, it's an awesome piece of hardware.

I have been shopping for a more flexible monitor solution that was not going to break the bank. Office Max delivers with this 3M monitor arm. I saw these marked at $24.99 and could not resist. (I have seen these other places for $80) I have two 22" Acer LCD displays that I use with my Mac Mini and MacBook Pro. The packaging claims only to support up to 20" displays, but have no fear. As long as the displays are light weight (the Acer 22" ones are), then these should handle them. They come with the necessary adapter plate for the VESA 100 type displays. All necessary screws/hardware are included. The only tool needed if you are using the desk top clamp mount is a phillips screwdriver if you need to remove the previous monitor stand before mounting.
The only "con" is that it can be challenging to get the display level ... kind of like trying to hang a picture level using a nail in the wall. Not a real problem if you have a level. They stay put once you have them where you want them. (Up/down movement is controlled by a "button" which is the cover for the hub, it is "notched" so the height adjustments are a step function.)
I gained back a ton of desk space under the monitors ... my speakers no longer have to lay on their sides!

I have two ACER 22" monitors and purchased two of these primarily to raise them up high enough to fit my speakers underneath. The packaging states that they work for monitors up to 20", but they work fine for my two displays. The fit and finish is good, the adjustments work great. The only problem I have is trying to get the display level if I move it around ... not a real problem, just like trying to make sure that pictures mounted to a wall are level.
The packaging includes the VESA adapter for VESA 100 display mounts. It also includes a selection of hex wrenches ... all you need to add is a phillips screwdriver. I am using the "clamp" mount and it does a find job of holding the stand steady.
