Too late to save floor
I wish I had got this 2 years ago it would have saved my floor.It is thin
and hard it come in one long sheet and will not roll up,you can go from mat to floor with easy and back to mat.I will have to let you know about the ware.

Fully met expectations
The mat was delivered flat, which was what I wanted. Office Depot's delivery service is pretty good -- you can track online the status of your order on the day of the delivery down to the truck stop. The mat was thinner than what's listed in the description -- it's not 1/8" thick. It's more like 1/16" which appears to be adequate on top of a hardwood floor. The thinness is even preferable if you need to slip it under the legs of your desk or other furniture. I have the slightly rough side facing up and the chair rolls effortlessly on the mat. Part of the mat has a cabinet on top of it, so there's no way it will slide on the floor. Appearance-wise the mat is not completely transparent. It's kind of opaque, but you can still see the grain on your hardwood.

Excellent Purchase
I am so pleased with this mat. It protects my floor yet is clear and thin enough to not even notice unless you are looking for it. My chair rolls easily on the mat but does not slip out of control. I give an overall rating of 5 stars without a second thought.

Excellent Chair Mat
I bought this polycarbonate chair mat to protect my hardwood floor. As the description states, this mat is clear and odorless. It was shipped flat, as this mat is not as thin as a vinyl mat and cannot be rolled up in a tube. The polycarbonate mat is still flexible because it is about one-sixteenth of an inch thick. One side of the mat is smooth, which I laid against my hardwood floor. The other side has a tiny pebbled feel to it, which is the side my chair rolls on. I set up the mat this way because I figured the smooth side would not mark up the hardwood floor if the mat shifted or slid, and the rough side would provide enough friction to keep my chair from flying across the room with me in it. The mat has not shifted in the several weeks that I have used it.
I highly recommend this polycarbonate mat for hard floors, it will protect both your floor and the wheels of your chair. I would also recommend the polycarbonate mat for people who are sensitive to ordors or allergic to vinyl, as this mat does not have any odor nor does it give off any odor over time or through heavy use.
