Rated 5 out of 5by Nancy Love this pen
I just love writing with this pen, very smooth. I had purchased one of these before and now I came back and bought 3 more. It has a comfortable grip too.

Rated 5 out of 5by OrionM I like these pens very much
I use pens daily in my work and have come to appreciate rollerball pen technology; especially the advances in quality over the past decade or so. I am a complete office supply nerd and have specific (perhaps abnormal) fascinations with things such as pens, fasteners, and yes... paper).
These pens are by far the best disposable pens I have ever used. They are durable, well balanced, attractive, and comfortable to grip. The pen caps, as many have mentioned, could benefit from a slight change in design so that they will stay on the end of the pen when in use for you "cappers" out there (of which I am not one).
Ink flow is outstanding, pigment is perfectly black, and consistency is really unmatched by any other disposable I have used. Never a "glob" or smear when writing on even the slickest paper.
The box stores do not regularly keep quantities on these on hand, so I generally buy all of the stock when I see them on display. As an aside, these pens are also greatly appreciated "work presents" for those occasions when a special "thank you" is appropriate without going overboard.

Rated 2 out of 5by Jimmie Smooth point, great ink, flawed cap
I absolutely love the shade of black in this pen. I love how smooth it glides across the page. So why only two stars? Because the cap is made out of the most brittle plastic I have ever encountered on a pen. I have purchased two packs of these pens, one black and one blue. Out of the six pens, I have one black one that doesn't have a cracked cap....because it's still in the package. I can't believe that someone didn't catch this prior to production. The day the upgrade the cap to a better grade of plastic, this pen will move to 5 stars. So close to being a perfect roller ball...........

If you're a pen geek like me, then you know a good pen when you find one. I recently restocked my TULs and had to order all new versions of the pens. I have pen moods if you will, and I migrate from ballpoint to gel to rollerball depending on how I feel. The rollerball matches the quality of the RB1 pretty well. What I don't like is that the cap doesn't stay on very well. I can't write with a pen that doesn't have a cap on it. It may be strange but if I have a pen that has a top, I expect it to stay on. The ink does skip sometimes and I'm also a lefty
