Sharpie? Gel Highlighters, Assorted, Pack Of 4
Great for highlighting on very thin paper
These work best as an alternative to regular highlighters on thin paper. You don't get any bleed through to the next page with these. On regular paper I would still use the standard highlighters.

I work in Development and am constantly soliciting and processing donations, writing docs, reading, etc. thus handling massive amounts of paper. So, I'm glad I discovered these gel highlighters. I feel they work great and highlight easier than the traditional kind; one quick swipe and I'm done. Yes, it may "skip" a little but, unless you're highlighting something you're about to hand over to a person with a severe sight problem, then this isn't really a problem...unless you're pressing down way too hard. Because, overall, when I look at what I've just highlighted, I can clearly see that it is highlighted. Also, yes it is "waxy" but if you don't want it to appear as visibly waxy then again, don't press down so hard when highlighting.

Awesome, under the right circumstances
I love these highlighters. Clean, smooth, fun, doesn't bleed so it can be used a lot without weakening the paper and on thin paper such as in books or even Bible pages. Not precise, not as bright as regular highlighters and when doing fat highlights it can skip a little. Will not dry out if you leave the cap off for a day or two and wont ruin the carpet or bottom of a backpack if the lid comes off.
Some users complained you can't write over it BUT paper mate/ball point pens work just fine. Felt/flowing ink and sharpies dont stick to the gel. If highlighting over ink it again works best on ball point or over dry ink. Also if used over marker it wont transfer to the pen and ruin it like reg. highlighters do.
Perfect for kids, bible study, highlighting in books for research you dont want bleeding through.

I COULD CRY!
I purchased these and highlighted HUNDREDS of client documents before discovering that when you write over the highlighted area, it is like writing over an oil-based crayon, and it SMEARS! ALL. OVER. THE. PAGE. I've never been so upset with a product in my life.
I tossed the packaging, but these are STILL going back. Office Depot BETTER give me a refund, if not an apology for selling me this junk!
