Sharpie Gel Highlighters, Fluorescent Yellow, Pack Of 12
Copiers w Automatic Feeders Beware...
Received a freebie at a New Office Products conference. Loved that they did not bleed through! The problem is that you have to be very careful when marking up a document as you may end up highlighting text not intended due to the lack of a point. Also, these do transfer on other sheets and turned out to be a nightmare if you use them in a copier with an automatic feed. We were getting complaints from staff that there was a line appearing on documents after using the copier. We had to have our copier serviced and cleaned and were not to go anywhere near our copier. Great concept but needs work. Until then they are banned from our office :(

Crayon consistency - not regular ink
Ordered these highlighters thinking the "gel" was just a thicker type of liquid ink. It is not an ink at all. This highlighter glides on with the consistency of a crayon or a colored pastel. Very sticky, not a smooth-flowing ink at all. Edges do not have smooth lines like a normal highlighter - instead it has rough looking edges like, as mentioned above, a crayon. While this will not smear what you have written with a pen, the highlighter "ink" itself smears everywhere.

Great for highlighting thin paper, does not bleed
These gel highlighers truly do not bleed through. I've used these on several Bibles and find them better than any highlighters, even the hard "wax like" ones marketed as Bible markers. They would be good for any highlighting, but especially when you do not want them to bleed through on manuals, notebook paper, etc.
They do not have a fine point but are perfect for highlighting. The fluorescent yellow is like all fluorescent yellows--it doesn't show up very well in dim light, and shows great in natural light.
The orange is not very dark and perfect for highlighting. The Pink one is a tad dark, but still great.
They are very smooth so highlight fast.
