Realspace Marbury Collection Executive Desk, 29 1/3H x 60W x 29 1/2D, Auburn Brown
Sturdy and Nice Looking!
Agree with other reviews that it takes 5-6 hours to put together and the step by step hardware is a big plus. Desk looks very nice and is sturdy.
One thing I want to point out is that if you want to put your pc in the left cabinet, you will need to drill holes for the cords. The only hole on the back side of the desk is at the back of the right, top open slot. There's a lot of room in the depth of this desk, so I have my computer on top of the desk behind my monitor and still have plenty of room for a keyboard and wrist pad.
The file drawer on the right side pulls open all of the way, but does not have any metal rods for hanging files. The other two drawers offer ample room for office supplies.
The back side of the desk can also be faced toward people in case you want to put this in the middle of a room. The panels on the back are decorative.
Overall, I love this desk, despite it's few flaws.

This is a nice-looking desk in a useful size. Assembly takes about six hours. The instructions are clear and components are well-labeled/organized. All of the holes lined up exactly. Appearance works for a commercial or home office with its real wood veneer finish. Terrific price for what you get.

Assembly took some time...not difficult however. Like the way the hardware is packaged according to assembly steps

Last week I bought this desk and assembled it at home. I bought it because the construction of the pieces just felt nicer than other desks on display. And the price was in my budget.
I'm the sort of person who never looks forward to assembling items with instruction books because it always takes longer than you think. This desk did take longer to assemble than I thought. However, it was not hard. I did not need any special tools. And in fact, this company made assembly easier than some of their competitors by a few simple details. The one I appreciated the most was that all the hardware was organized and labeled by step. So step one was in a pouch called 1. That's pretty simple in my opinion. And that saved me a lot of searching through bags of parts.
The second thing that this company does that I appreciated a lot is that the tolerances on sawing of their parts seems to be more precise than other brands I've purchased. Finally, it looks way better in our opinion (wife and daughters) than anything else in the price range. It feels solid, like a 'real desk'.
It's the first time I've purchased this brand. My next purchase will be led by 'I prefer realspace' if I can find it.
Also, we ordered it online and the delivery was quicker than promised. The only problem was that it took me about 4 hours to assemble this desk. I did all the steps except for one step alone.
It really is a fine desk. Has a traditional look and feel to it. I love it!
