I made 4" x 6" story books by writing the stories on 4 x 6 pages and printing it through the photo carriage on my HP printer. By printing the whole document I did not have to collate pages and because the card stock was 4 x 6 there was no cutting or trimming. I used 4 x 6 photo stock to print the cover to give the project a polished finish.

Rated 1 out of 5?by Disappointed Cheap and flimsy
I needed 60 of these to tape to some pictures and jimmy-rig up some inexpensive Christmas cards. When I pick up index cards, I anticipate something between a 65lb to 110lb card stock, something I could easily take a rollerball pen or marker and write on both sides without it bleeding through. This is the equivalent of letterhead or 1 step above economy copy paper. It's nice to get 300 of them for less than $5, but I'd rather have 100 of them for $5 and they're actually functional as... index cards should be.

Rated 2 out of 5?by hawkeye Not useful as study cards
I bought these to make study cards. Unfortunately the paper is hardly thicker than good quality printer paper, so it's easy to see through them unless you write in light pencil. The other issue I had was the paper just isn't durable enough to withstand going through the cards several times a day. If you're planning to use them for school, don't bother unless you want to remake your cards multiple times.

The cards were not as heavy as I expected. But overall they were worth the price paid.
