Apex EMDOOR EM63 7 HD Internet Tablet 3 5 3 3
Slowest tablet in the universe It takes an insane amount of time for anything to open via wifi, even if you have full bars. Even reading a book, it takes 5+ minutes to load up. It is not very touch sensitive, and you have to touch the buttons several times before it "decides" to work. We hate it. Additionally, the battery life specs listed aren't accurate - the battery life is more like 3 hours, not 6. July 6, 2014
Just An Excellent Buy! I had been looking for a nice tablet computer for the past couple of months, something small and lightweight that I could take with me on the go instead of having to lug my laptop everywhere. It didn't have to be top of the line or even state-of-the-art, but there were a few things that I was insistent about. Good internet access was a must, so built in WiFi it had to have. A decent Android processor, hopefully one that had proven itself and wasn't terribly slow I also wanted, and it had to come with or at least have no hassle access to, some well known music, movie, and other entertainment APS. And finally an HDMI jack, so that I could view the entertainment on s full size HD screen when available and have the digital sound to to with it. Then I also wouldn't be concerned f the tablet screen was just a 7", instead of 9 or 10". Just with this modest list of desires, I was hard pressed to find anything noteworthy for around $100, and the ones getting the best reviews were substantially more. So when I came across this dandy little Apex, which came with what I had to have and a whole lot more, I thought now what's the catch? I mean it was Google certified, and came with Google Play and lots more: Gmail, YouTube, Gallery, Adobe Flash, a move player, a music player, a camera plus some excellent editing software, not to mention a high definition 7" screen that is very bright and very clear, plus an Android Jellybean dual core processor, 8 GB flash memory, with 1GB RAM storage expandable to 32 GB. So about a month ago, still wary and wondering what I may have missed that would allow the price to be so superb considering how much tablet I was getting, I took the plunge and made the purchase. And all the surprises have been very good, I could not be more satisfied with this being my first tablet purchase. I've seen some complaints about battery time being short, which I havent experienced, but even if it is there are ways around that, and compared to the other stuff that you get that soonds more like a whine then a legit complaint. I have found just one thing that I wish was a little better, that being react time and sensitivity of the touch screen. But once again not that big of s deal and mostly it works adequately, and besides it comes with a voice activator and you can type that way if need be or desired. All in all, so far so good and if it holds up maybe one of the best buys ever in any category. Its just great! June 28, 2014
Not too bad but... It keeps starting on a reboot page and then goes into SAFE MODE...not sure what the problem is because the manual is way too small to read, there is no PDF manual for this model according to the company. It charges with a round plug instead of a micro USB like I am used to seeing. Otherwise it's fast and the HD screen is crisp and clean. June 21, 2014
