Seventh Generation Automatic Dishwasher Gel, 42 Oz. 2.1 5 11 11
Does not clean well at all. I thought I would give the gel a try. The dishwasher is the only place I do not use a green product. I was hoping but it left the glasses cloudy. I also have to pretty much get all of the food and residue off of the dishes before I even put them in the dishwasher. I might as well wash them by hand. I think this will be the emergency bottle if I run out and forgot to get the other cleaner. A bit disappointed. July 10, 2014
Cloudy glasses n stained dishes I have to hand wash everything I put in the dishwasher which is a lot when you have young ones running around. I like non toxic but I dont like expensive for a product that does NOT do the job! June 18, 2014
I was so hopeful... I purchased the liquid dish gel because I wanted to use a green product when washing baby bottle parts in the dishwasher. I was really disappointed by the end result. My glasses were cloudy, food was still stuck on the dishes, and I wasn't confident the bottle parts actually were cleaned. I'm running the dishes again as I type. We use many Seventh Generation products (diapers, surface cleaners, hand soap) so I know the products are usually great, but this was a major fail. June 2, 2014
Dissapointed I have been a long time customer of seventh generation. I use many of their household cleaning products and have used the dish gel for at least five years. The last time I bought a bottle, I could only buy it in a small container. It appeared as if they had discontinued the larger bottles. And it was more expensive. Bummer! The main thing a person is looking for dishwasher detergent is that it gets the dishes clean, without residue. Unfortunately, although it doesn't say that it is a new formula anywhere on the container, it must be a new formula. Ever since I started using it my dishes have been cloudy and less clean overall. I even deep cleaned my dishwasher with vinegar and baking soda to be sure it wasn't my dishwashers fault. I am very disappointed, and unfortunately will have to look for a different natural/non-toxic brand that really works. Unless some generation changes their formula back to the old stuff, they are losing a long-term customer. In the past, I had even happily recommended this product to other people, but the new combination of higher price, smaller bottle, and less cleaning power has changed my mind. May 29, 2014
