Logitech K400 Keyboard 4 5 11 11
Only worked 2 months This keyboard was great until it wasn't. I thought the batteries had died so I changed them out with brand new batteries but it still still did not work I switched it on and off. I tried it on a different machine and it still wouldn't work. I only had the keyboard for less than 2 months before it failed :( October 23, 2014
No dedicated Pg dn, home, etc key; selecting issue I used Logitech K400r for 4 days and it?s got some good points but it?s got some serious issues. No dedicated PG up, Down, Home, End keys. Have to press FUNC to use PF keys. Highlighting large block of text with touch screen. I?ve had the Adesso WKB-4000US for years and it works great. I?ve had two but they break after 4 or so years so I wanted to try something else. I?m returning the Logitech K400r and buying another Adesso. The Logitech K400r has no dedicated Page Up, Page Down, Home, End keys. You have to press the FUNCTION key to use the PF keys. So just to go to the front of a text line you have to look down, find the FUNCTION key (there is only one and it?s on the left side) then look on the right side of the keyboard to find the Left Arrow key (that?s the HOME key). Not quick. CNTL HOME becomes FUNC CNTL HOME with keys on the left and right to find and press simultaneously. There is plenty of empty space at the top of the keyboard. They should add dedicated Page Up, Page Down, Home, End keys in that area. To use the PF keys you also have to press the FUNCTION key first. So PF5 to refresh becomes: look on the bottom left to find the function key then find the PF key you want at the top. There may be a way to change the F key to not have to press function first. I have not looked online yet. You can use two finger drag to page up and down but that wears out your fingertips. And it does not always move up and down 1 screen. It may do 1 or 2. So you can?t easily page up or down to find what you?re looking for. When you are highlighting text with the touchpad if your finger reaches the end of the touchpad you have to start over. You have to go back and get in the very bottom corner then highlight. It can take several times to highlight what you want. The Adesso keyboard automatically continues highlighting when your finger hits the touchpad edge. April 19, 2014
Awesome purchase My brother's laptop mouse pad and keyboard were rendered useless after a little spill and we decided to purchase this Logitech wireless touch keyboard. It has a mouse pad on it as well - making it extremely convenient and easy for transport. December 15, 2013
