View movies or sports events in ultra-sharp, vivid colors. The IOGEAR DP 1.4 repeater doubles the length of a DisplayPort for more suitable scenes at greater distance without degradation. Each side of the repeater supports 30 ft. DP 1.4 cables, allowing a run up to 60 ft. from source to display. Repeater is clearly marked where source input and display cables are connected. Repeater requires external power; a USB power cable is provided. Repeater will work at 8K only if all components are DP 1.4 (Source, Cable and Display), device is backward compatible with DP 1.2 (4K). Repeater can support cascading up to 3 levels (130 ft.) and still maintain 8K resolution.
