Top of the line pocket notebook
My personal analog assistant. Heavy wire binding, opens easily, plastic covers much more durable than cardboard, fits my pocket tees and flannel shirts. One can carefully open the binding and take out the pages to remove, rearrange or add pages to keep one's copious contact list up to date. Lasts several years. Don't recommend using water-soluble ink, as sweat will smear everything. Don't recommend leaving it in your pocket and washing it as only the covers and binding survive. The only improvement that could be made would be to use waterproof paper a la a geologist's or surveyors field notebook. Mead: take note.

perfect memo pad
For those who are in the service tech industry, this is the perfect note pad.
Hard vinyl cover, water and sweat proof, fits in shirt pocket, lots of pages,& nice double spiral binder.
Great for getting model#s serial #s part#s etc... and because the cover protects, ink will not run, rain and sweat won't damage pages
