Energizer Max Alkaline D Batteries, Pack Of 8
I was caught in a power outage. As stored batteries were looking corroded I went to buy new batteries. I got the pkg. of Energizer D4 batteries. I won't repeat the words I thought of using about trying to open the plastic package. Trying to find scissors and then trying to cut that almost uncuttable package is for the birds. It took me nearly 30 minutes to get that package open. In near darkness, when I needed the batteries to put in the flashlight. Surely something can be done to the packaging material to make it easier to access the batteries. What if it had been a really dire emergency? Getting batteries out of the package should not be that hard!

batteries are fine, but where is the expire date?
Since I rarely use D batteries, just keep them around for flashlight emergencies, I need to make sure they are still good. I have an unwrapped package I've had awhile, and I can't tell if its expired.
Please include this date in the future so I won't be forced to use different brands.

I have a problem
Hello, I have a question, buy the pack of two batteries and do not work. In each of them there is a date stamped, namely: 03/12/11, I think that's due date, but having opened the packaging I can not change. I'm from Argentina. Where I have to go???
