The Christopher Lowell Town Collection blends traditional and modern styles for a clean and powerful look. Its timeless design includes a stylish, dark alder wood-tone finish, pleated tempered-glass windows and imported brushed-nickel hardware. All pieces, except for the mobile executive desk and pedestal file, sit atop small, boxy feet in a brushed-metal finish to keep furniture from being placed directly on the floor. Each piece is sold individually.
Features hidden CPU storage to fit most vertical CPU towers.
This stationary executive desk features a large CPU storage shelf that is cleverly designed to mimic the 2 drawers on the opposite side of the desk.
1 supply drawer and 1 file drawer keep you organized.
The top drawer holds pens, pencils and supplies, while the bottom drawer has full-extension slides and holds your letter-, legal- or European-size hanging files.
Includes a slide-out keyboard/mouse shelf.
Desktop grommet holes provide easy cord/cable management.
Christopher Lowell Town Collection Executive Desk, 30 1/2H x 65 1/2W x 30D, Dark Alder
This desk looks great once assembled. However, assembly is the frustrating piece. The directions are very unclear, all pieces are not marked, and the screws and nails are all thrown into one bag and you have to sort them. However, if you are able to interpret the directions or lack their of, it is a beautiful piece of furniture.

Bought this desk for my parents and had no problem assembling, took some time but nothing seemed confusing. Appearance far exceeded expectations; desk looks elegant and modern and has nice wood scent which fills the room up. I will be purchasing one for my home as well.

Clumsy drawers broke in 2 year
I bought this desk for home office use including other C.Lowell furniture, gives good professional to my home office, however material seems cheap. Also, left side drawer is all loose. I fixed it few times thinking I did not install it properly, but same issue popped up again.

Great Furniture for Home Use
I found the desk relatively easy to assemble...that is, until I got to setting up the drawers. It's like the people who wrote the instructions gave up and said figure it out. I spent 60% of my time trying to figure out the darned drawers. I definitely recommend going to their service website to look at the videos..and even that may not be helpful. (The instruction manual explains things in pictures and doesn't use enough words.)
In the end though, this is a great piece of furniture. It is very sturdy. However, like someone else mentioned, I don't think it's made for a commerical office.
I assembled it by myself and it took me about 8 hours. But, I took several long breaks in between...especially when I got peeved at the drawers.
Other tidbits: The file drawer can hold up to 35lbs, the box drawer holds 15lbs, the bottom shelf hold 50lbs, and the keyboard drawer and other shelves hold 25lbs each. The glass top can hold 100lbs.
Aside from assembly headaches, this is a great piece of furniture. Definitely worth the price.
