Pentel Side FX? Mechanical Pencil, 0.5 mm, Charcoal Gray Barrel 4.5 5 2 2
One of the best mechanical pencils out there Mechanical pencils always have been extremely convenient to use because there's no need to sharpen them. However, most of the one's I have tried have been of poor quality, as many jam and a few even had the plastic break after a few months. I saw Pentel's Side Fx pencils at my local Office Depot and liked they way they looked, so I bought one. The pencil has a nice sturdy body, which is easy to hold and the clicking mechanism works very well and doesn't jam. It also has a large lead tank, so you can load it up and it will last at least a couple of weeks before you have to refill it again. The twistable eraser works well and replacement packs are easy to find. The product is a little expensive, but it's well worth the money. May 7, 2009
the best pencil ever I have used many pencils--mechanical, that is. I have to say that this pencil has been the easiest to use, always comfortable on my tired finger, good sturdy lead. I highly recommend this mechanal pencil January 7, 2009
