It's nice with modern look. Easy to assemble. The black glass top is relatively hard to clean than wood desk, so maybe a desk mat & mate is needed.

First I would like to say that I did a ton of research before purchasing this desk and I'm completely satisfied with this purchase. If you have a negative experience in purchasing this desk, I would recommend contacting Office Depot for assistance or replacement. My experience with both assembly and design was outstanding and the finished product looks just plain sexy.
Assembly: The desk was incredibly easy to assemble and took about an hour. I?ve assembled many desks and this was one of the easiest to put together. Instructions were easy to follow and all parts were clearly labeled. There are some older reviews on the site that give the instructions and labeling of parts some pretty bad reviews. The company must have taken these reviews into account and improved the desk since every part went together easily. Some of the other reviewers recommend keeping the parts loose until everything is all done, then tightening, but not over-tightening at the end. This is the best advice possible and will give you the flexibility needed to fit remaining pieces together. Once fully assembled and parts are tightened, the desk is an extremely solid, yet surprisingly light-weight piece for its size.
Look & Dimensions: The dimensions were a pretty big deal for me with this desk. Many L shaped desks with glass tops are not this big. Furthermore, they do not have much true table top depth. This desk had the most at 24 inches, while every other one I looked at had about 18 inches or less. This dimensions is something that unfortunately, manufacturers decide to leave off the specifications for L shaped desks. Fortunately, I was able to call office depot and their support person was able to get this dimension for me prior to purchasing. The extra table top real estate is significant enough to allow you to place more on the desk and give you more comfortable arm room. It also gives you a good deal more leg room below the desk. The other great feature about this L shaped desk was the corner design. Unlike just about every other corner desk I found, instead of having two support legs jutting out and blocking the corner area, this places all the support in the back. This is a structurally better design for the corner piece. It also gives you way more leg room. On top of all this, the cable management ports on the desk are well placed, keeping your wires and cables from being visible, something that is a major issue on all other glass topped metal desks I?ve looked at.
Overall, this is an awesome desk. In the end, it looks every bit as sexy as it does in the pictures and for a price of $150 it is really unbeatable. Many desks that I looked at were double the price and were of inferior design. The cable management designed into this desk makes it even better. If you?re considering a desk of this type, this is the one to buy.

The desk and file chest are sturdy furniture. The desk is easier to assemble than the file chest. The combo have an odor that has taken a week of Febreze and fresh air to eliminate. I happen to like the set well enough to deal the the odor.
