At first I felt like this was a bit too expensive for a paper product, but I've found that we've used this number line constantly during the past year that we've had it. Repositioning the numbers in one long line or stacked together ten above ten helped the children visualize numbers in different ways. At 4 and 6, they've both mastered counting by odds and evens, and skip counting by 2's, 5's, and 10's. We consult it frequently during addition and subtraction. I specifically ordered this line because of it's alternating red and blue pattern, which really helped the children grasp odds and evens. This product is not laminated, and is simple printed-upon cardstock. I recommend laminating it for classroom use. But for our homeschooling purposes, it's held up excellently during the past year. Bonus: The cardboard packaging includes complete pictures of each segment of the number line, which I was able to carefully cut out and tape together as a quick reference on my children's desks. They love their mini number lines that look just like the real one, and use it when solving problems.

Have been using your number line for 3 years in my classroom - it gets daily use with dry erase markers in our math routines -we draw the jumps when counting, mark numbers greater than, less than, etc. It cleans up nicely with the white board eraser or the cleaner - very satisfied!
I ordered this new edition so I could add the 101-120 (common core) sections to our present number line. I was very disappointed to find that the markings would not erase on these sections and when I tried white board cleaner, it erased the printed numbers and the surface!
I am going to contact customer service for a replacement , but the point of this review- if you do order this product, laminate it yourself before use!
