Zebra? Z-Grip? Mechanical Pencils, 0.5 mm, Clear/Black Barrels, Pack Of 7
A Really Good Mechanical Pencil
I work in a custom cabinet shop. These mechanical pencils hold up under very rough treatment. The .5mm lead makes a fine, but visible line on MDF, Particle Board, Plywood, and Plastic Laminate. The lead doesn't slip back into the barrel of the pencil; a common problem with many other brands. I plan to stock up in case these excellent items are discontinued.

Design Flaw in this Pencil
There is a design flaw in the 0.5mm Zebra Z-grip mechanical pencil in that the conical metallic sleeve at the tip that connects to a plastic shaft containing the mechanism for advancing the lead does not have enough shaft length in the pencil housing to resist flexure at the tip. Because the juncture between the metallic sleeve and the plastic shaft is allowed to bend at the pencil housing, the lead constantly breaks. Enough pressure applied to cause the lead to leave a dark enough mark is too much pressure for the pencil, and the lead constantly breaks, rendering the pencil useless. There are other mechanical pencil designs for 0.5 mm which are just as comfortable or moreso, which have sufficiently rigid components such that lead breakage is not a problem. Unfortunately, the office where I work only stocks this faulty mechanical pencil.
