Blade Dulls Quickly - Stops Sharpening
It was doing a great job but then after several pencils it stopped sharpening. I found out the cutter dulls easily and has to be replaced! Probably costs less to buy a new sharpener...but it won't be this brand.

Piece of Junk!
I bought this sharpener after having had the Foray battery powered pencil sharpener for the past few years. Honestly, I rarely used the other sharpener and it was only recently rediscovered after I lost my Tug manual pencil sharpener (a hand-held sharpener that costs less than $2... possibly the best sharpener I've ever owned). The battery powered Foray sharpener just died, so I figured I'd spend the extra $10 on the dual-powered one. Got it home and sharpened ONE PENCIL before it started clicking at me and stopped sharpening. Thinking it was a fluke, I brought it back to the store and got another. This one worked a bit better, as I got through a whoppin' 10 pencils before the clicking started and it stopped working again.
Bringing it back and getting a refund so I can spend a couple bucks on another Tug sharpener. I'd rather have to manually sharpen all of the pencils for my classroom than waste my time and money on another Foray!

I purchased this pencil sharpener based on reviews. I have had it for one month. It sharpens pencils quickly, evenly, and with a sharp point. You have to gauge when to remove the pencil as it keeps running. It is lightweight and it is a good idea to hold the sharpener with your other hand. The cup does not collect all the sharpenings- so best to emply over a trash can. To date I am very pleased with this sharpener.
