TOP NOTCH QUALITY AND APPEARANCE!
I cannot believe how great of a price we got on this desk! I would expect to pay something upwards of $500+ for this desk. Yes, it is particle board construction; however, the laminate work and overall appearance of this desk makes it very hard to tell the difference!
We got the woodgrain version of this desk and we are thoroughly happy with our purchase. The desk took about 2 hours to put together, but it was well worth the time! Everyone who sees this desk loves it...and I cannot believe we only paid $152 for this desk! (After using a $15 off coupon on the sale price)

Good value
I did a lot of research before I bought this desk. I was very afraid of buying a desk made of compressed wood as I have seen them fall apart in the past. I purchased this one on sale for $110 and I have been very happy with it thus far. I took extra precautions with the the assembly and used glue on every screw and peg that I put in it (which is not required per the instructions and I had my own metal glue for the screws, not included). The white surfaces are very durable and seem well finished. The wood looking surfaces are less durable and you can definitely tell they are not wood, but for $110 dollars, its pretty darn close. Assembly took a while, but I took my time and breaks in between, because I wanted to do it correctly. The construction is designed to be very stable and does not wobble at all. I am very happy with this purchase and it was well worth the money.

Free Replacement Parts!
We have 4 other pieces of this set that were purchased 7 or 8 years ago in our office (not a home office, but a business office). They have held up great when you consider that I spend 40+ hours a week using this furniture. It looks great and is functional.
Like previous reviewers have mentioned, some areas of certain pieces are rough. I have the bigger desk that I use mainly (the mini desk is supplemental... I have them arranged in an "L" shape) and it has rough spots on the drawer edges and the keyboard tray. I just used packing tape to cover the edges and exposed screws... problem solved.
This set was moved once by professional movers, and the book shelf was broken. The particle board came apart where the screws attach the side to the base. HOWEVER... I contacted Sauder and they sent me a replacement piece FREE!! They didn't even charge shipping!!! How great is that? Now it's just like new.
We also had occasion to clean it and it didn't react to well to that. A mouse took up residence in a drawer, which required me to really clean it. I used disinfecting wipes and it made the wood grain fade away on the inside of the drawer. I didn't mind so much since it was inside, but that tells me that using anything harsh on the white wood grain parts of the furniture is not a good idea.
The backing on some of the pieces is flimsy. It's just cardboard. I wouldn't recommend this set if you'll be moving it from place to place. But other than that, it's great. And you can't beat the price.
