The best tablet for any Google user, period.
I know what some of you are thinking - what about IPad??? Well, if you like IOS and are not fond of Android, I can't argue with you there.
However, I'm an I.T. professional, and I find IOS a little too internally restricted and locked down for many of my needs. I use Google apps for a lot of my personal needs, and while the web interface on IOS is nice, it's just a lot nicer to have individual apps, custom designed to work with Google services are just better, period.
The new Google Play experience with this tablet is also fantastic. Tons of videos and music available, new apps being developed daily, and I've found an app that meets almost every need. And of course, right now, the TF Prime is the only one with the ICS Update!
I have no complaints about the power the TF Prime pad has, as it seems to run every application I want it to run so quickly that I never even notice The new chips from Nvidia are definitely worth the cash.
But enough about the software - we buy tablets not only for the ICS updates, but for the form factor. Let me tell you - this thing is beautiful, and light, and slim. Without the keyboard, it easily compares to the iPad 2 in thinness, and has an anodized aluminum case that feels sturdy yet light in the hands. The grooves on the pad give it a gorgeous sheen, and frankly make it one of the most physically appealing choices in Pad's these days. The screen is a brilliantly bright IPS screen that is so good, sometimes it can get a little too bright and you end up turning it down. The SuperIPS mode for daylight typing is totally beautiful - though it's not an LTE Tablet, so I don't see the point of going outside unless you know there's a hotspot nearby (or you use your phone). Additionally, E-reader books and E-Comics look brilliant on the IPS screen.
And, if you buy the keyboard dock (which I heartily recommend), suddenly typing becomes SO much faster. I can get nearly my full 90 wpm from the keyboard, and you can shut off the touchpad at will if it gets in your way. Folded up, of course, the unit and keyboard are much thicker, but you can always undock the keyboard if you need to go somewhere in a hurry with a thin and light pad. But I generally carry it everywhere as if the device were a netbook, but a gorgeously-crafted thin and light one.
Final conclusion - Without the keyboard dock, we have yet another Android data pad device, with a gorgeous bevelled gray (or gold) surface, only this one has an IPS screen which several don't. Soon they will all have ICS, and many of them have gorgeous screens, so again, this doesn't stand apart.
However, the keyboard dock is what beats all other pads in this regard. If you find yourself stuck somewhere with no laptop and an *urgent* need to write a long e-mail, a long Doc in Google Docs, a long note to yourself, or finally finish the great american novel you've been working on, you are *not* going to be able to do it effectively on an iPad nor android tablet screen - the keyboard takes up tons of room on the screen, preventing you from keeping an eye on your proofing, and the screen keys just aren't as accurate, plus you have to have the pad flat on a surface - and perhaps the only surfaces available to you are restaurant tables or something, then the viewing angles are all wrong. This thing, you open up the keyboard, you put the unit in your lap, and you just *go*.
That's worth the extra cost right there - at least to me.

Excellent Tablet - ASUS Prime TF201 Tablet, 32GB
I just received my ASUS Transformer Prime tablet last night. Easy to use, nice design, great graphics. Love the battery life, should have bought the keyboard/docking station at the same time. Highly recommend screen protector or case to keep from scratching the glass. love the fact that it has a 32 GB Micro SD slot and mini HDMI slot. Dual camera are a plus as well as a flash option.

Nice Tablet
This tablet is the flagship for the android OS. Comics, magazines, books, web browsing, streaming TV, video from sd card (up to 32gb) or internal, camera, video recorder, all your phone apps, purchases and games can transfer including things like books from Kindle/BN/GoogleBooks and any music/video. You don't have to start from scratch. You have the option of using all processors (4) or just 2 to save on battery life. The screen can be set up simply for indoor or out door use. It's beautiful. To utilize its full potential check out the keyboard dock it provides a extra battery which charges the tablet, usb port for anything you can think of, and a sd card slot which can handle 32gb of memory. 32gb internal, 32gb micro sd, and 32gb sd from keyboard dock. USB 3.0 or higher will charge the device.
