Boston KS Sharpener, Chrome/Black
Terrible! So cheaply made!
I just had to review how terrible this sharpener is. For one thing, the adjustment wheel is loose and the little metal clip does a poor job holding it in place. The handle just falls off after a few weeks of heavy use. The gears got stripped and started skipping. The lead of colored pencils or thick lead drawing pencils breaks off easily and is hard to remove. The base broke off of the screws. I teach middle school art so my kids put my sharpeners through the ringer. This one just didn't cut it.

We have these throughout the school. They eat the pencils and when the end of the year testing came I had to try EVERY pencil sharpener in the building to sharpen my students pencils. They all did the same thing. I finally bought 2 Bostitch electic big ones and they are loud and only 1 of the 2 works well. I then bought the small, cheap, individual ones for each child and had better results. They separate and there maybe shavings on the floor, but they work.

Not Made in the USA
I bought this sharpener because the description said made in the USA. When it came, it was made in China. Product works ok.

Mikey Liked It
I bought one of these for some shipyard workers. They asked for another for another shop. Men here aren't easy on things so if they wanted another it must hold up to their use.
We have manual wall mounted everywhere they last much better than electric when used by working men and women.
