Boston? KS Sharpener, Chrome/Black
Looks nice, but cannot sharpen evenly
I thought this would be good because of the brand name. Nope. It eats pencils; it sharpens unevenly, and totally frustrates my middle school students. Save the money, and buy something that can sharpen straight.

Terrible! So cheaply made!
I just had to review how terrible this sharpener is. For one thing, the adjustment wheel is loose and the little metal clip does a poor job holding it in place. The handle just falls off after a few weeks of heavy use. The gears got stripped and started skipping. The lead of colored pencils or thick lead drawing pencils breaks off easily and is hard to remove. The base broke off of the screws. I teach middle school art so my kids put my sharpeners through the ringer. This one just didn't cut it.

Basics are best for pencils
I have had electric, battery powered, small plastic manual sharpeners and I have to say this one has served it's purpose over and over again without issue.
I purchased another one because I recently moved

While this sharpener is definitely better than the little plastic school ones we've always had, I am disappointed that my model sharpens unevenly. This might just be a defect in my particular sharpener, but no matter if I hold the pencil still, move it around, rotate, etc. the pencil is always sharp about 3/4 around and then 1/4 it's at the wood. Annoying!!
