Chairs just don't hold up...............
I've had two of these exact same chairs and both went to pot, the seat cushion sags and pitches me to the right and forward on both, even replaced the bottom plate which was of no help at all. Office Depot was very good about these defects, refunding my purchase price on both. I finally bought a HON with a lifetime guarantee but for a cost of over $300 so we'll see...................

Home office
Nice finish on the leather, Chair is uncomfortable and not enough padding in the seat. Will return to it shape when you get up but you sink to the bottom when you sit in it. Spring in the adjustment to rock is to stiff, Even when you use the adjustment knob to the lest amount of tension it is very hard to lean back in it. It was rated in the upper bracket for amount of time sitting in the chair at the store

Realspace Caldwell Chair
The chair is very comfortable. I have had the chair now for nearly 5 months I have been able to use the chair throuhout an entire business day with no back or leg fatigue. The chestnut color is very rich and really shines.
The only I have had is with the gas lift. Out of the box the initial one lasted only about 1 month. I go about 220' but it is supposed to be rated up to 250' which was why I bought it vs. going a much more expensive "Big Boy" chair. I called the customer service number that is conveniently on both the manual and the bottom of the chair. The new gas lift arrived Next Day. I installed it and it has been working great for 2 months. With a 5-Year warranty if I have to replace the gas lift once a year so be it. Tiny price to pay considering the total cost of the chair by the time 5 years roll around!
I definitely recommend both the Realspace Caldwell chair and Office Depot's Warranty Service.

good value
Good alternative to leather, tufted back chair that can be in the $500 range. Arrived one day after my order. Moderately easy to install but don't tightened everything until the end and then work in alternate fashion as you progressively tighten the arm rests and base, otherwise you'll have things misaligned. Lady at the store told me to do arms before putting on base, but instructions said to do arms last. Not sure if that would make a difference, i followed the written insturctions. Chair is firm but good looking and a good value.
