GBC SelfSeal Laminating Sheets, 9 x 12, Pack Of 50
Fellow Brand better than GBC
I've been using 9x12 self-seal laminating sheets for a couple of years to laminate navigation charts for kayaking. To date, I've been using the 3mil version from Fellows. This time, I bought the Swingline GBC brand for about the same price. What I discovered is that the GBC brand is a little narrower and more flimsy - meaning that if the Fellows brand was a true 3mil, then the GBC brand felt like it was 1.5 or 2mil. Plus, the fact that the GBC sheets are narrower means that you have to be MUCH more careful when you're lining them up (because you don't get a second chance). So, in hindsight, I wish I had stuck with the Fellows brand.

A disappointing purchase
I was trying to laminate a sheet of paper. After looking at the "directions" on the packaging, I thought that I must have been doing something wrong. I went to the website and...I was doing nothing wrong! Silly me, I thought that if I wanted to laminate a letter sized document, this is the product I needed.
You actually need TWO laminating sheets to laminate ONE document.

Waste of time and money.
The instructions on the box are misleading!! In order to properly laminate, you need to use 2 sheets, not one as depicted on the box. Wish I had bought the competitors product, turns out the cost is the same. Once bitten, twice shy.

Misleading & Disappointing
Box says laminating "sheets", it should say "sheet", (singular), or "single sided laminating sheets". Pic on box shows what is clearly a 2 sided laminated page, but the product is anything but. Figured we were doing something wrong... until we checked the website and found we weren't alone. We usually use the main competitor's product, but we go through a ton of it, so we thought we'd try this one as it was a bit cheaper...... live and learn.
