USB console. Two USB 2.0 console ports allow connection to newer devices with USB console ports, such as Tripp Lite's wide variety of PDUs and UPS systems with WEBCARDLX or other LX Platform remote management cards.
PowerMan PDU and UPS support. This USB console server uses PowerMan for PDU and RPC management and Network UPS Tools for UPS system monitoring and management. It provides support for Tripp Lite and other power products, so you can remotely manage power to your connected equipment.
Connect the Built-In V. 92 modem for Out-of-Band (OOB) access. For OOB access, connect an RJ11 cable between the front-facing RJ11 port and a functioning landline port to allow the V. 92 modem to dial out.

The B098-016-V supports the following security features and standards: PCI DSS 3.2, FIPS 140-2, SSL and SSH, stateful firewall, OpenVPN and IPSec VPN support. The embedded FIPS 140-2 OpenSSL cryptographic module is validated to meet FIPS 140-2 standards and has received Certificate #2473.
Compact design for convenient mounting. The heavy-duty steel housing comes with mounting brackets for 1U installation in an EIA-standard 19-inch rack. Its fanless form factor also allows desktop deployment on included rubber feet that help prevent the unit from sliding.
Wi-Fi diversity antenna included. The 16-port serial console server includes Wi-Fi, which supports either Client or WAP mode. Just attach the included 2.4 GHz SMA Wi-Fi diversity antenna to the console server's main Wi-Fi port.
