could not assemble I failed to get any of the 8 screws into the casters. The front casters had very tiny holes for the screws. 800 number sent me a photo which helped figuring out how to assemble the back casters. They told me the screws were self tapping - but I was still unable to force them in to attach the front casters. While the holes were bigger for the rear casters I was still unable to get them in. I failed on all 8 of the 8 screws after several attempts. Other than that - nice file cabinet for the price. I intend to return it. July 18, 2014
Good Luck with Wheel Assembly Let me just start off by saying that it is a file cabinet and it will hold files as it is intended. So for those reasons it gets a few stars. Oh, and it is inexpensive, so if you are just looking for a place to hide files (and keep them organized), it does its job. But the wheel assembly is another issue. It comes with four casters that need to be attached. All of the parts are included, though the parts did not do the job for me. I should have taken a clue from the store model unit that did not have casters on it. I am assuming that they tried to put them on too, but finally gave up. FRONT CASTERS: Holes in the metal base of the cabinet are too narrow for the provided screws. Screws would not grab until I re-drilled the holes slightly larger with a 1/8" bit. Mission accomplished. All worked then. BACK CASTERS: The contraption they have designed for the back is quite odd. It is two metal pieces that are supposed to lock together once screws are inserted. The locking takes the form of pinching the metal base of the cabinet. The issue here is that the screws again don't fit the holes in the second piece of metal. This time the holes are too big. A better solution here would be a nut/bolt solution (again 1/8"), which I will be trying next. For now I have a very suitable cabinet...with no casters. Design FAIL. July 13, 2014
