HON 510 Series 25D 4-Drawer Letter-Size Vertical File Cabinet, Black 3.8 5 4 4
order file cabinet Ist shipment was when estimated...cabinet damaged quick no hassle response to pick up damagaed cabinet easy to re-order and shipment received when expected no damage this time satisfied with transaction September 15, 2014
Great Fit This cabinet was purchased specifically because of it's depth. We needed this exact size in order to be able to close the door of the closet that it is in. It showed up in pristine condition and was easy to unpack. February 20, 2014
Great Office Depot Service, Poor Product Quality Although the service from Office Depot was terrific - including delivery - the quality of the HON 4-drawer file cabinet was disappointing. I purchased several 'identical' file cabinets from Office Depot/HON several years ago, and was attempting to match them with the new purchase. On the new unit the supporting face frame is plastic, only two of the drawers open without getting stuck on the slides, the hardware is flimsy, and the gauge of the metal is thinner. If you are looking for the high quality HON of the past, you will have to purchase a more expensive model (or change brands). The good news - I received the product I ordered in record time, it 'visually' matches my other units, and it's here and ready to go! November 17, 2013
Not Impressed This is a solid file cabinet with a couple problems. 1. Two out of four thumb-latch drawer catches are slightly misaligned and the drawers do not open easily. I have to apply just the right pressure. 2. The painted high-side drawer rails do not allow hanging files to glide back and forth easily. High-side drawer rails appear to be standard for HON now. This file cabinet is listed on the website as "commercial grade quality," and in the paper catalog as "premium quality," "for "moderate daily use." I do not look forward to using this file cabinet daily. For the price, $249, and from HON, I expected better. March 22, 2012
