Good Accompanying Hutch for Desk
I purchased this hutch along with the desk. Overall this is a good hutch and here are some general thoughts:
1. The hutch is heavy but you want that so it is sturdy. It is attached by two screws in the back along the desk surface and you can use wall attachments as well which I am not using.
2. There is plenty of shelf and storage space. I recommend to not use the three small shelves provided for the middle section to give you more room for larger books to stand upright. If you do not plan to store a lot of books in the hutch then they will provide more space for papers and the like.
3. The two side glass doors open out from the bottom. They slide along bearing bars which are of medium quality. Make sure to take your time when installing them to ensure that they do not scrape along the inside of the hutch. They open by raising them all the way to a 90 degree angle and slightly drop down to stay closed at roughly an 80-85 degree angle giving you plenty of room to access the storage space.
4. The hutch can attach to the desk on either side of the desk so if the desk is next to a window you do not have to cover it with the hutch.

Love my new desk
I bought this hutch and the matching corner desk. I had been looking for a workstation I could do craft projects as well as set up my computer and printer. My husband and I were able to set up both within an evening. The directions were easy to follow and numbered with corresponding packets of hardware pieces. It wasn't a quick assembly but there are many pieces and it is a big workstation. I love the spaces in the hutch for storing my colored paper for my Cricut, and the cabinets are great for storing my other craft projects. The desk itself is wonderful, I am able to file family papers in one drawer and organize even more craft items in the other file drawer. The pull out space intended for a printer was actually an inch too short for the printer we have so I put the printer on the table top and used the pull out for my Cricut machine. Even with the printer on the desk top I have a very large work space to accomodate my laptop as well as a sewing machine. The only real complaint I had was that some of the pieces were already scratched when taking them out of the box.

Fits the need
I picked this design because it matched the two smaller versions we already had in our office. With the exception of the bowing of the very top piece of the hutch, the desk is very functional and provides space for dual monitors.
