Nice desk, but there is a catch
Bought this desk for a home office situation and it is a good quality desk. seems solid and have had no problems with it. Not sure if it would hold up to a full 9-5 office environment, but for my purposes it works well. It is a good looking desk and all sides are finished, so it can be put into the middle of a room. The catch, however, is that the desk is not reversible. Being a single pedestal desk, you would assume that the manufacturer would either sell the desk in both left and right hand configurations, or make it so it can be configured in either direction, but it does not. Out of the box if can only be built with the drawers on the right side of the desk. Since I needed the drawers on the left this was a major problem. Fortunately, if you have decent woodworking skills, you can reverse it without a major hassle. It does involve drilling some holes and moving the drawer guides. You will need a drill and a few properly sized drill bits, but it is doable. It added about an hour to the assembly, but was not a big deal. You will have a few holes left over from the original configuration, but they are all underneath the desk and not really noticeable. I wouldn't recommend this if you have no woodworking skills and have trouble assembling furniture, but if you are comfortable measuring and marking and drilling holes in wood, you should be fine.

The desk is solid and looks nice. Like other reviewers, I noticed that it scratches easily, which I tried to prevent by purchasing a rubber mat to protect the desktop. I found it easy to drill holes to attach a keyboard tray underneath (do this before you assemble the top) - the Bush keyboard tray just barely fits. Be aware the curtain back panel is located a few inches forward (not flush with the back of the desk) which limits legroom and what you can put under the desk (trash cans and the like).

I really like the look of the desk for the price I paid. It was not too difficult to assemble. My only complaint would be the drawers and the fact they don't glide real well...I think I'll get used to it though.

Very large and nice desk that was easy to assemble. There is room for a second pedestal for hidden storage and symmetry, but that's my aesthetic opinion, as the area could also house a CPU tower, subwoofer, legs, etc. Desk top arrived with minor (1 inch) scratch that was covered readily by furniture marker.
