Rated 4.3 out of 5by 7 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5by Great for a home office We bought this for our home office and it's a great, durable board that's easy to hang up. The cork board seems a bit more durable than other cork boards, in the sense that little pieces don't come out when you remove or re-insert push pins. Also, I love the black frame. It looks less office-y and more decorative! April 20, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5by Decent buy This cork board is decent for the price & it was very easy to hang! March 16, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5by Nice Looking Good looking for a bulletin board. January 19, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5by Was A very good choice Hanging on my bedroom wall. With some push pen hooks, turned it into a jewelry board. All the necklaces and beads that were in a jewelry box are not easy to see and much easier to make a selection to wear. January 12, 2015

It comes with 2 brackets, 2 screws and 2 screw holders. The directions do not really tell you where to put the brackets for the photos show it with the holes down. Can someone inform me of how to go about doing this?

Answer:
You drill a hole in the sheet rock. You gently pound in the plastic wall anchor (drill a 1/4" hole, not the 3/16 they suggest). The metal bracket points up. Its lip is what the frame is hung on. The frame in back is not flush with the fibrous material, There is a gap. Hang the frame on the two brackets that are facing up and are inserted into that gap.

There is no reassuring click or anything to let you know the bracket is indeed inserted deeply enough into the gap. Therefore, pull the frame several times to make sure the brackets really keep the frame to the wall. The first two times, the bracket was just balancing on the bracket, and came off easily..

Answer:
You can hang this board up by attaching the brackets to the wall with the screws and dry-wall anchors provided at the appropriate distance. Then hang the board on the brackets to mount it to the wall.

Answer:
The dimensions are for the OUTSIDE of the frame. The actual cork/fibrous material is smaller. The frame is about 7/8". So the mounting area is about 2" less than the total length.

Either way. There is a lip running all the way around the frame in the back. the mounting brackets slide up under this lip, so the frame can be horizontal or vertical.

I would like to cover the board with thin fabric and paint the frame to match our decor. Is it possible to seperate them for this process then reassemble when finished?

Answer:
It is not made to do that. The frame is glued with the cork/fibrous backing inside it.

Answer:
Unfortunately, the frame cannot be removed without damaging the frame and/or board.

The frame is attached/assembled to the board with glue and staples, if the frame is removed you won't be able to easily re-assemble it.
