Acer Aspire V5-561P-6869 Laptop Computer With 15.6 Touch-Screen Display & 4th Gen Intel Core? i5 Processor
Almost perfect for me
Just bought this the other day. What I wanted was the I5 processor, touchscreen and Bluetooth. I would have liked a backlit keyboard and indicator lights for caps on and num lock. I will upgrade this to 8 gigs of memory in the future. I replaced a HP refurbished laptop I've had for a few years. This thing is great for the price. Wish I could say the same for Windows 8.

Best Laptop for the $449
Great product, top notch Acer quality, 4th gen i5 with touch screen and great display all wrapped up in a super lightweight clean package! You just can't beat the specs and proven track record of Acer products for $450.00 on sale!

For the money, this is a superior machine. The one thing I consider a "con" is that there is no indicator when one has "caps lock" on, which can be a real problem when logging on to secure sites (e.g.banking or investment sites) which will lock you out after so many logon errors. That's the ONLY reason I didn't rate this 5 stars. Touch screen took me some getting used to since I have clumsy fingers, but that's my problem.

Better than expected...
I was kind of worried about the quality of this particular laptop because it looks extremely plain on the picture and the price at the time was so cheap($450). But, I'm glad I purchased it. Everything is smooth, responsive, intuitive because of the touchscreen. Sure Windows 8 takes a little while to get the hang of but, having a touchscreen laptop makes it a whole lot easier to navigate and figure out. Anyways, here are my Pros and Cons:
Minimalistic yet sleek design
Very good build quality
Intel i5 for under $500(i5 is the middle of the road as far as intel-chip series#.
CD-drive#positive or negative#
Decent battery life
Arrows keys might be small for some.
Speakers are in the bottom of computer#makes zero sense#
4GB RAM#expandable and probably to keep costs down)
Basic GPU that can handle decent games
Will not get into Windows 8 pros and cons because Acer is not in anyway, shape, or form liable for the OS's design and function. But, I will say this, Windows does require a bit of learning because unlike the other versions, this one is a complete rehash and it's specialized for touchscreen devices for the most part. So because this HAS a touchscreen built-in, the learning curve is a lot slimmer and soon you'll find yourself navigating through the OS like you've been running it for a decade.
