WorkPro PRO 3000 Series Ergonomic Custom Fit Fabric Mid-Back Chair, Black/Black 4.2 5 37 37
Excellent--Price & Quality You can't go wrong with this chair. Super comfortable, once you figure out how to best adjust to your needs. We got a great deal on it too. January 26, 2015
Amazing! Since my profession requires lots of sitting, that is working at the office & at home, after trying out the chair for couple of weeks I have purchased one for myself at home as well. I simply love it! My back doesn't hurt, it helps me adjust to position I currently want, with much variety of tilting & very cushioned seat as well as the back support I am very happy with the product. Another great aspect is that, it allows you to sit for longer than 8 hours at a time & you still enjoying the chair at the end of the day. Would definitely recommend. January 13, 2015
Not Totally Satisfied I have had my WorkPro 3000 Series Mid-Back Chair for just a week, but I'm not totally satisfied with its comfort or function. The seat cushion tilt feature does not allow me to properly adjust the tilt to prevent sliding forward in the seat. Adjusting the seat cushion tilt lever does little or nothing (e.g., it does not seem to tilt the seat upward or downward). Also, the left armrest pad slides forward on its own, which is an annoyance. I believe the chair is over-priced given the problems I've identified. January 12, 2015
Somewhat uncomfortable seat, tilting broke It's not a bad chair, overall: there are lots of adjustments and I was able to use it in a forward-leaning manner at a point in time when that was beneficial (my previous chair couldn't do such a thing). However, the cushion turned out to be thin in the middle after sitting for part of day - something I didn't encounter trying it out for 10 minutes in the store. Also, the highly necessary chair tilting control has completely broken after 3 months of relatively constant, but not hard, use of the chair. I have not adjusted the tilting control since the day it was assembled. The arm rests are a bit high, as well, but not a big deal for me. By contrast, my no-name chair of similar cost lasted about 6 years before its cushion finally gave out, and its controls never faltered. So, it's decent for the price, but I'd rather get another model than have this one fixed, frankly. January 6, 2015

Answer:?
You have to sit in the chair in order to drop the height while pulling the lever on the right side beneath the chair. The weight assists you in dropping it as the lever releases.

Answer:?
The first lever(the one closest to the front of the chair) controls the tilt lock. Down will let the chair tilt freely and up will lock the chair in place. The product assembly instructions are also available directly on the item page on OfficeDepot.com, Item# 996190

Answer:?
For further assistance please contact us at 1-800-949-9974.

To remove the 5 star base:

1. To remove the five star base from the gas lift, turn the chair upside down. There are about one to two inches where the gas lift sticks through the five star base.
2. Use a hammer to hit the edge or rim of the gas lift while pulling out the five star base. Avoid hitting the metal clip in the center of the gas lift, as it will release the pressure needed in order to raise or lower your chair. The more you hit the gas lift, the more pressure will be released. After several taps, it will come right out.

To remove the gas lift:

1. To remove the gas lift from the seat plate, keep the chair upside down.
2. Use a hammer to hit around the area where the gas lift fits inside the seat plate while pulling out the gas lift. These two items are locked together by pressure; the more you hit the seat plate and pull on the gas lift simultaneously, the more pressure will be released. Eventually the two items will separate.

To remove the seat plate:

Use the allen wrench that came with the chair to unscrew the seat plate from the seat cushion. Make sure to keep the black plastic spacer attached to the seat cushion.

The lever on the side has no affect. The front of the seat is currently tilted all of the way down. I would like the seat to be level.

Thanks.
