The HP Pavilion dv5-1010us gives you the power to handle demanding applications, and provides advanced entertainment capabilities. It features the powerful Intel Core 2 Duo processor, a 15.4" widescreen BrightView WXGA display, huge 4GB memory, roomy 320GB hard drive, and advanced Wi-Fi capabilities. Wireless-N (draft 802.11n), the latest in wireless, can provide increased wireless speed and range, particularly in a Wireless-N network. It is also compatible with 802.11a/b/g formats, for seamless connectivity with most existing wireless networks.

The LightScribe™ SuperMulti DVD drive lets you burn and play DVDs and CDs, including DVD-RAM and DVD±R Double Layer, with 8.5GB capacity per disc. LightScribe lets you etch labels (grayscale text and graphics) onto discs using the drive itself: after burning content, just flip the disc over in the drive to burn the label (requires LightScribe-compatible media, sold separately).

HP QuickPlay lets you play music CDs and movie DVDs within seconds after power turn-on, without booting the operating system. Stereo earbud headphones are also included.
