- How does Office Depot® Price Match Guarantee Work for Store purchases?
- Nobody beats our prices ... Guaranteed!
Should you find a lower price at any other store, we will match it on the spot - guaranteed!
(Must be an identical, in-stock item. Excludes free product offers, special orders, services, Internet purchases, liquidation, ad errors, clearance, refurbished and close out items.)
If you show us a lower price from another store on a brand new identical item at the time of purchase, we will match it. If you show us a lower price from another store on a brand new identical item within 14 days of your purchase, we will give you the difference. Our price is the final price you pay after any discounts, coupons, instant savings, and mail in savings. - How do we handle a price match if the other store's advertised price or coupon includes an instant savings, mail-in rebate, gift card, or free promotional product offer?
- We will match the adjusted point of sale price, which is calculated by deducting any instant savings offers that are applied at the point of sale, such as instant rebates and coupons. We do not take the mail-in rebate, gift check, gift card, free promotional product or equivalent into account when matching prices. We do not match free products offered with a purchase.
- What items do we include in our Price Match Guarantee?
- We include almost all new items that are identical and in-stock. This means the item must have the same model number, features and warranty. For items that come with a service plan, e.g., a cell phone, the plan, provider and other terms must be identical (we will, however, not match the price of the service). The item must be in stock and available for purchase at the price advertised from an authorized U.S. brick and mortar store. We reserve the right to verify all information.
- Which items and services are not available for price match?
- We do not match prices on services, which include delivery, copy, installation, extended warranties and computer services. We do not match items sold on internet sites (excluding, however, items found on www.officedepot.com). Taxes, ad errors, closeouts, clearance, liquidation, free product offers, special order, offers advertised as available at one location and refurbished items are also excluded.
- What if I find a lower price on Officedepot.com?
- If you find a lower price on our website, www.officedepot.com, on an identical non-web special only item within 14 days of your in-store purchase, we will match the price. We do not match prices: (i) from our catalogs; (ii) on web-only specials offered on www.officedepot.com; and (iii) offered to our contract customers.
- Are quantities limited on price-matched products?
- Yes. We may limit the quantities sold to each customer.
- How does our Low Price Guarantee Work for online and catalog purchases?
- At Office Depot we offer a low price guarantee! If you find a lower price than our net price on a new, identical product, at one of our stores or a Web Competitor (see below) within 14 days of making your purchase on our website or through our catalog, we will match that price! Simply call us at 1-800-GO-DEPOT and we will match the price. Please remember to have proof of the low price available to fax or email when you call.
- Which companies' prices do we match?
- The qualifying web competitors ("Web Competitors") are: Staples.com, OfficeMax.com, BestBuy.com, Reliable.com, Quill.com, Sears.com, Target.com, KMart.com, Costco.com, andSamsClub.com.
- How do we calculate our net price?
- Our net price is the final price that you pay after using any coupon offers, instant savings, and mail in savings offers. For example, if we sell a product for $10, with a $2 instant savings offer and $2 mail in savings offer, our adjusted "point of sale" price is $8, but our net price is $6.
- How do we handle a price match if the Web-Competitor's advertised price or coupon includes an instant savings, mail-in rebate, gift card, or free promotional product offer?
- We will match the Web-Competitor's adjusted point of sale price, which is calculated by deducting any instant savings offers that are applied at the point of sale, such as instant rebates and coupons. We do not take the mail-in rebate, gift check, gift card, free promotional product or equivalent into account when matching prices. We do not match free products offered with a purchase.
- Are there any other exclusions?
- We do not match service prices, including but not limited to delivery, installation, extended warranties and computer services. We do not match our third party providers' products and services (e.g. cell phone service, tax preparation, payroll services, custom printing, installation services, and service plans), other brick and mortar retailers, or items sold on internet auction sites or at local or special events (e.g. grand openings, closeouts, clearances, liquidations, anniversary sales). Also we will not price match taxes, typographical errors or special offers from a manufacturer.
- Will we provide a price match if the Web-Competitor does not have the item in stock or states that quantities are limited?
- No. Sometimes a Web-Competitor will advertise a low price for a product while having only a limited supply of the item. If our Competitor is out of stock, or states in their ad that quantities are limited, the product is not eligible for the Low Price Guarantee. We reserve the right to verify that our Competitor has the product in stock at the low price.
- What if I find a lower price at an Office Depot store or in an Office Depot catalog?
- We sell through multiple channels of distribution including catalogs, retail stores, the Internet, and contract delivery. As a result, our prices may vary, higher or lower, in any channel at any given point in time. If you find a lower price in an Office Depot catalog or at an Office Depot store within 14 days of your purchase, we will match the price if the item is in-stock in all channels. Ad errors, items advertised as clearance or while supplies last and offers advertised as available at one location and/or in a particular channel of distribution only are also excluded from this offer. We do not match prices offered to our contract customers. Additionally, we do not match prices on www.techdepot.com.
- Do you include delivery charges in the price match guarantee?
- Yes. When we compare our price to a Web-Competitor's price, the equivalent delivery charges will be included when we calculate the price of the Web-Competitor's product. If the Web-Competitor's delivery charges are not provided, a minimum of $9.95 will be added to the Web-Competitor's price. Delivery fees are subject to change without notice. Office Depot's fees for premium furniture delivery are excluded from the Low Price Guarantee.
- Does Office Depot accept coupons from Competitors?
- Yes. Coupons are accepted in-store only. Acceptance of coupons from the Web-Competitors is subject to the terms and conditions listed on the coupon.
Office Depot does not accept Competitor coupons for free/promotional or non-identical products. - About our Pricing:
- Although we make every effort to avoid errors, we are not responsible for printing or typographical errors. Our prices may vary based upon your order, delivery location(s) and the applicable retail store location. Prices and the availability of items are subject to change at any time. We reserve the right to limit the quantity sold including the right to refuse sales to resellers. We reserve the right to cancel or limit any purchase made contrary to the terms of any offer, discount, promotion or coupon or that otherwise is not in compliance with our Terms of Use or applicable state and federal law.
- What are my payment options?
- We accept all major credit cards, including Office Depot Business and Personal credit card accounts, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. We do not accept cash or checks for delivery. However, for your convenience, delivery orders may be placed and prepaid at any of our stores.
- Can I use my dollars off coupon as a payment?
- "Dollars off" coupons cannot be used as a credit card payment. Not valid for: purchases of Gift Cards, and wireless, satellite, Internet, or mailing/shipping services. Good for one-time use only-not combinable with other promotions offering "dollars off" or "percent off" the entire order, but is combinable with other sale items. Limit 1 dollars-off coupon per customer/business.
