Other Things to Consider
What's the Best Choice: Cloth, Leather or Vinyl?
Vinyl/Leather
- More durable, resistant to spills and moisture
- On average, more costly than cloth seating
- Lends a more professional, executive look
Cloth
- Wide range of colors, designs, patterns
- Can be harder to clean
For Warmer Climates
- Vinyl is cooler than cloth
- Mesh is particularly good for warmer climates... breathable material
Protect Your Office Floors
Add a Chairmat
Low-cost protection for carpets and floors
- Prevents chair wheels from indenting deep pile carpeting or scratching floor surfaces
- Makes it easier to wheel between desk and file cabinets/office equipment
- Reduces leg strain and fatigue
Does your office have hardwood, vinyl, or tile flooring? Thick, heavy-pile carpets?
The hard-wheel casters that come standard on new chairs are NOT suitable for these
vulnerable floor surfaces. Replace hard-wheel casters with soft-wheel casters (sold separately)
- Won't damage your floor surfaces
- Prevent scratches, scuffs
- Protects deep-pile carpeting (offices with low-to-medium pile carpets can use standard hard-wheel casters)
