South Shore Axess Small Desk With Storage, Pure Black is rated out of 5 by 3.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Mack from Get Ready The desk will work for what I need it for. Finishing up college and something on the cheaper side ($129). Only some of the pieces were labeled so my boyfriend had to go off of the pictures. The manual kind of sucked but we got it together. We just got it put together so I don't know about durability but it seems quite sturdy for our purpose for it. They know it gets scratched easily so they included a touch up marker. It was easily scratched in the process and the edges are already losing the black color.

Rated 3 out of 5 by arleigh from it's not bad for a student desk we bought this for my son's room. he's starting middle school and he's never had his own desk before. take care when you open the box to note the labeling on each piece of "wood". then simply follow the directions exactly, in order. we added elmer's glue to the slide in bottom and packing tape to the back side of each drawer. and I think the knee panel should have been black on both sides, not just one side. if I had black paint, I think I would have painted the particle board side and turn it inward so the nicer shiny black side was pointed out. putting it together took me and my husband a while because we had to keep taking "frustration breaks." the door seems a little flimsy. I might go buy a magnet latch for it. I think it's a pretty nice desk for the price ($129, aug 2013) it's heavy, which makes it feel less cheap. the front corners are rounded, which I think looks nice. I can't rate the durability. I'm giving it a 3 out of 5 but I won't know if it's durable until it's been used for a while? the drawers won't hold anything heavy. there's even a page at the end of the instruction manual with weight guidelines for each drawer and shelf.
