Very classy bookcase - expensive look and feel
I am very pleased with product. Only took 35 minutes to put 1st one together so next 3 should go faster. Finish is very smooth to the touch and beautiful dark color. Little issue with "sliding" side trims onto unfinished rail - took some gentle taps with a sledgehammer when they got stuck. I am looking forward to these lasting as long as my current 13 year old Sauder bookcases!

Great for the price
For the low price ($140 regular, on sale for $110 today) this bookcase looks good and is a great value. (You're not buying Thomasville.) You must read all instructions on the page carefully and have a bit of mechanical assembly skills, but all the parts are there and fit well. You need to pound some rails on with a rubber mallet -- best to put a block of wood between the trim and mallet so you don't damage the trim. Still, that looks better and is much easier than trying to screw the trim pieces on. It is HEAVY and will hold a lot of weight.

Pretty cheap quality
Overall pretty bare bones. Really didn't like assembly. The trim has to slide onto a routed groove. Easy enough until the trim is about halfway on and then you have to pound it the rest of the way with a mallet and mess up the end of the trim piece.
